Cumulative balance in movements

Maybe it's silly, but I miss it in almost all wallets.
I would like to see the accumulated balance under the amount of each transaction in the history.
Thank you very much for this

For is to check that match amount spent with balance lowering. Few weeks ago IΒ΄d a trouble with NOSTR zaps that did no appear in my AlbuHub movements, but in RTL it does.
For things like this and others would be usefull.
Is this moving along?
harrymmmm Not yet, no. I think it's very uncommon for lightning wallets to do so and I would have never seen this pattern in any finance or banking app.
RenΓ© Aaron May be true for mobile wallet displays?
But my electrum (desktop) wallet has a very nice display showing the amount and balance at the time on each transaction.
My Alby hub wallet is displayed on a web page on a desktop, so there's plenty of space.
Is that the issue? Shouldn't this at least be an option?
harrymmmm It's not just about available space, but I fear this will further clutter the UI (the transaction list already has 2 numbers per item).
May I ask what is the underlying reason you want to see that info on a transaction level?
RenΓ© Aaron When i first started using alby hub, I noticed the total balance fluctuating. I eventually tracked that to channel balances being incorrectly determined. What bothered me most was that there also seemed to be a downward trend (with no corresponding spends)!
Balances in RTL had the random fluctuation problem as well, so it wasn't a bug in Alby hub.
Although that problem was fixed by replacing the channels, you can see why one would like to see the balance at each transaction.
The second number you refer to is just the tx value in dollars (for me). I'd be happy with a settings option which replaced that with the balance at the time.
harrymmmm
I assume you are using LND?
The problem is that this would not help at all. The fluctuating balances are most probably not because of any transactions are happening in the background, but because of the channel fee reserves being updated and therefore the total spendable balance changes.
I guess the balances wouldn't fluctuate in other tools such as RTL, right? If that is the case the right way to fix the root problem is to improve the balance calculation so it matches. What do you think?

As I said, the fluctuations were also there in RTL.
Being able to see the balance at each tx would have made debugging/understanding this much easier. I had to log the balance by hand periodically to quantify the problem (that led me to RTL and the subsequent channel replacements).
Maybe you just need a 'details' option (showing the balance at the time) on each tx entry?
Re: channel fee reserves being updated
I saw fluctuations in wallet balance on a daily basis of up to +/-20000 sats.
edit: I just looked again at the details provided when you click on a tx in the wallet list. It doesn't provide the wallet balance and, sensibly, probably shouldn't. But an entry showing the channel used and liquidity at the time would be immensely useful.
